The goal of our MCFP program is not only to educate but also to help our children grow spiritually. This includes the importance of our children to attend weekly liturgy.
Many of our children attend Catholic parochial schools and that is wonderful, but those schools do not teach our children our Maronite tradition. For many other of our children, this MCFP program is the only Catechism they will receive and it is a vital part of our children’s education in order for them to grow spiritually and also to understand the Maronite Church and tradition that they are a part. It is up to all of us to teach them the right way, the way of Christ, and how to live a life that reflects their faith in Christ.
Registration for the MCFP program for grades Pre-school through 8th grade will continue for the next few weeks after all liturgies by completing the enclosed form, mailed to St. Maron Church, 7800 Brookside Road Independence 44141, or brought to the office in Independence between 9-3pm weekdays. There will be a cost of $35 per student which will defer the cost of books and projects. In addition to our classes we also have different events and activities throughout the year such as a Christmas party, food drive, and our youth liturgies, and for second graders First Holy Eucharist on May 4th at 5:00 pm Chapel or May 5th at 11:00 am St. Maron Church. Call the church office at 216-520-5081 with any questions or concerns.
Thank you and God Bless.
